Chris Curry is the Founder, President and C.E.O. of Destinations by Design. A twenty-year restaurant and entertainment industry veteran, Chris brings a strong operational background to his company's services.

Prior to starting Destinations by Design, Chris oversaw the operations of several Jillian's Entertainment Complexes throughout the Ohio Market. From Sports Bar Restaurants to Interactive Game Rooms, Dance Clubs and High Tech Bowling Alleys, Jillian's is truly a destination entertainment venue. Chris also oversaw the operations for Stephen Spielberg's GameWorks Entertainment Facilities throughout the United States prior to joining Jillian's. With locations in Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Detroit, and Miami, Chris was actively involved in the daily operations as well as some major corporate events.

Realizing the tremendous amount of potential for corporate parties and functions at both Jillian's and GameWorks, Chris decided that it was time to fulfill his destiny. " It has always been a dream of mine to own my own business. I was actively involved in the training and development of the Sales Managers at both GameWorks and Jillian's, not to mention the operations of many of the events. There is nothing like throwing a party for a few hundred people." Said Chris. "From the operational intricacies involved in executing an event, to seeing the guests expressions when the event is going well; That is the true thrill of being in this business."

Chris is a member of Meeting Professionals International, The Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau, now known as Experience Columbus, and is actively involved in a number of various community organizations such as the The Dublin AM Rotary among others.

Chris has been a resident of Dublin, Ohio since 1994. Having grown up in Worthington, Ohio and attended Ohio State University, Chris has always referred to Columbus as his home. He and his wife of more than ten years, Lynn, plan on keeping it their home in the Dublin Area.
